2025 Early Intervention Series: Caregiver Coaching
Caregiver Coaching in Early Intervention focuses on the fiver research-based characteristics of capacity-building coaching discussed by Rush and Shelden (2020) in the Early Childhood Coaching Handbook, including joint planning, action/practice, observation, reflectiona, and feedback. The course defines coaching and gives numerous examples of coahcing being used in a variety of camily circumstances. The course align with family-ventered practices, gudielines developed by professioanl organizations, professional standards, and recent research.
